Taking into consideration minor cerebral infarction in the anamnesis, the presence of type 2 diabetes mellitus, non-toxic nodular goiter, hypercholesteremia and steatohepatosis, the diagnosis: Boeck’s diffuse-infiltrative sarcoidosis of the skin was made.
In the presence of complications the following treatment can be prescribed to the patient: prednisolone (methylprednisolone) 20-30 mg / day, possibly in the combination with plaquenil (200 mg / day) and topical application of group 1 corticosteroids, CO2 laser, diathermocoagulation, cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen.
Long-term internal treatment requires constant screening of peripheral blood, blood biochemistry (calcium, liver enzymes) control, ultrasound investigation of the abdominal cavity organs, and observation of a number of medical specialists.
