Abstract.
On January 5, 1919 the Commissariat of Health was established, in February 1919 it was transformed into the People’s Commissariat of Health, in March 1946 – into the Ministry of Health of the BSSR. On July 11, 1990 the ministry from union-republican became republican with subordination only to the Council of Ministers of the BSSR. Regulations on the Ministry were approved on April 3, 1969 and August 7, 1995.
