Abstract.
The work is devoted to the issues of improving non-specific prevention of infectious diseases in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. Two series of experiments were carried out: in the medical divisions of the military unit and the special purpose medical detachment of the military department of the Medical University. Disinfection effectiveness of objects by the chemical method using standard means and non-standard electrochemically activated disinfectant “Anolyte neutral” was studied in the work. Disinfection was carried out as an integral part of the daily cleaning of the premises with wiping of the working surfaces of the equipment, window sills, door handles.
To evaluate the effectiveness of disinfection measures of the studied objects in accordance with the Instruction 4.2.10-22-1-2006 a microbiological study was conducted on 28.01.2006. In the medical divisions of the military unit, wash-offs were taken from the surfaces of the walls, the dressing table and the window sill of the dressing room, from the walls, the couch and the window sill of the room for medical procedures, from the window sill and bedside tables of the ward, the table for finished products in the dining room before and after daily cleaning in the absence of patients and staff. At the military department they were taken from the study tables and door handles of classrooms No. 1 and No. 2 before and after the current cleaning in the absence of students and teachers.
The prospects of using the Anolyte neutral disinfectant for preventive disinfection in military medical units have been proven, and the effect of various formulations of disinfectants on personnel has been studied.
Keywords: prevention of infectious diseases, military medical units, disinfectant, electrochemically activated solutions, neutral anolyte.
