On December 16, 2025, Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University hosted the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Military Medicine: History and Modernity," dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel of VSMU. The conference focused on the current issues in military medicine, as well as advanced training and postgraduate training of medical specialists. The event brought together leading experts, scientists, practitioners and representatives of specialized organizations to discuss their experience, current challenges and prospects for the development of medicine in today's realities.
