Abstract.
The article contains literature review on the topic “Duodenogastral reflux in children”. This review summarizes and analyzes modern information on the state of pathology at the present developmental stage of medicine in children. The analysis of literature on this subject has been made with the purpose to sum up the results and to answer the question - what is duodenogastral reflux, what does it comprise and what dangers does it constitute?
In this work, modern views on the prevalence, etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical picture of the disease are presented. Attention is paid to the principles of examination and treatment of patients with this condition. The data on the peculiarities of morphological changes in the mucous membrane of the upper parts of the gastrointestinal tract caused by duodenogastral reflux in children are presented.
Key words: duodenogastral reflux, bile reflux, children.
