Abstract.
The article concludes a series of theoretical and educational materials on the functional cytology of the stem cells and their role in the regeneration of tissues and organs. This article considers regional stem cells of the vascular endothelium and blood vessels as a whole. Data on the stem cells of the pancreas and its regeneration at the tissue and organ levels are given. Regional stem cells of the air passages and the respiratory part of the lungs are considered. Different variants of posttraumatic lung regeneration at the organ level are discussed. In the section dedicated to the regional stem cells of the skin the description of various SC that restore the skin and its derivatives both under normal conditions and on its damage is provided. The possibilities of organotypical skin regeneration are discussed, including those based on the authors’ own scientific material. The techniques are proposed for using the material presented in the article in the educational process at the Chair of Histology, Cytology and Embryology.
Key words: regional stem cells, pancreas, lungs, skin.
